Bruno Oddenino studied oboe is diploma on the Conservatory in Turin G. Verdi, under the guidance of the master G. Bongera, with full marks. He has won several national and international competitions and auditions that allowed him to get the role of principal oboe with various orchestras, including: RAI of Naples, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Istituzione Sinfonica Abruzzese, Orchestra Sinfonica of Belo Horizonte (Brazil), Teatro Regio in Turin, where he played as principal oboe until ' 78. He was principal oboe in the Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino, role that he relinquished in the year 2007.
Alongside the orchestral activity he also dedicated to chamber music and solo activity. He Stood out finishing in first place, in national and international competitions (eg. National contest of Cesena) and with the Trio of Ance of Turin was awarded the first prize at the international competition in Belgrade and the special prize at the international competition of Martigny. Thanks to these important results he has performed concerts and tours worldwide and has recorded for Italian, French, Swiss, Spanish, Belgian and Greek radio and tv and for the labels Claves, RS, JVC, Victor.
The teaching and research activities, allowed him to enable innovative courses on the teaching of Natural Harmonic Intonation (formerly: Saluzzo-Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale; currently: Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin and Conservatory in Cuneo, high school music in Catania ). In the years 2010/2011 he was Professor of Chamber music for wind instruments players at the Institute of musical studies Vincenzo Bellini in Catania. He was the founder of several cultural institutions and pioneer activities, among which we highlight the Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale di Saluzzo, who led for the first 3 years of teaching and the Turin Philharmonic Orchestra, of which he was President and artistic director. He also promoted the birth of the Accademia Montis Regalis, instrumental ensemble that operates within the framework of Baroque music.
Since 2002, he has dedicated himself actively in the composition and in the year 2009 his first opera is represented: Mister Pinkerton.
Since '77, he has been Professor of oboe at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin.
Majored in music therapy, Nada- Brahma System (Vemu Mukunda school) and is a founder member of the Italian Academy of Vibrational Medicine. For years he has been committed, in this specific sector, through workshops and conferences, both as teacher and as music therapist. He has conducted research on new sound techniques combined with colours, crystals and aromas in the medical centre EMAR of Milan, and in the year 2004, by experimenting with the innovative tool for bioenergetic analysis Prognos, he got flattering validations on the validity of Harmonizing System validation he developed and named by himself, with patented brand, BioArmon. In the year 2010, a training program for health workers organized by the Hospital San Giovanni Battista of Turin, entitled "moving in ergonomics and harmony to prevent the physical and psychological stress" he got a job as a teacher to train staff in charge with the BioArmon technique. Assignment also confirmed in 2011 and 2012.
In the same year (2012) he began collaborations and experimental tests on rejuvenating and relaxing power of the sound on older people, with facilities and clinical centres in Piemonte. From 2011 with Prof. Carlo Ventura, Professor of molecular biology, school of medicine, University of Bologna he is exploring the effect of stem cell exposure to music with BioArmon.
On March the 3rd 2013 as part of the exhibition "Fonèka" at the Auditorium "Parco della Musica" in Rome, together with Prof. Carlo Ventura unveiled the experimental project of sound on the transformation of stem cells. (http://www.auditorium.com/eventi/5456360)
In 2005 the orchestra "Cerretum" was founded with the homonym cultural association, of which he is the current President with which he is developing Chamber, Symphony, and training activities. Since 2007, several Italian regions (Pieemonte, Lombardia, Veneto, Sicilia) have adopted the system BioArmon kids, which was developed over the last 5 years, in favor of more than 10000 children of primary school with very flattering results certified by the teachers.
At the Parco della Musica in Rome, as part of the initiative called "Christmas at the Auditorium" in coproduction with Musica per Roma, came true BioArmon kids "7 notes" which formed, from December 8, 2011 to January 8, 2012 with appreciable results, more than 600 Romans children, labs that were repeated even on public holidays 2012.
Since 2010 he is President of Civic musical Institute F. A. Cuneo of Ciriè, the prestigious school of music that has great tradition and quality.
